Warre joined Wagenborg Engineering soon after graduating as a naval officer on the 'shore side' of Wagenborg. After laying the foundations in lifting and transport, he became involved as an engineer in complex multidisciplinary projects such as the Violette Bridge in Duisburg.
On this project, he was part of the project team that prepared the contract, was responsible for the detail engineering and worked on the project site as a site engineer. His pride: the new Wagenborg bridge sliding system, a safe and efficient relocation system developed in-house by the Wagenborg engineering team.
He also contributed to another tool developed by Wagenborg Engineering: the Modular Support System.
‘Taking an idea from paper to implementation really gives me satisfaction!’
