Smart lifting solution in Salzbergen

Salzbergen is home to one of the oldest refineries in Germany. As early as 1860, lamp oil and lubricants were produced here. Today it is home to a technologically advanced refinery complex with modern blending, bottling and logistics facilities. A recent project saw the addition of six new storage tanks. It was up to Wagenborg Nedlift's lifting specialists to place these on their foundations.

Mega duo on the move

The Chemelot site in Geleen aims to become Europe's first circular chemistry site by 2050, using sustainable, non-fossil raw materials and energy to produce plastics for everyday use. This transition requires adjustments to the infrastructure and facilities. Last summer, two huge storage tanks had to be transported to the site for an infrastructure project. This required the temporary closure of the A2 motorway. A major transport challenge!

Teamwork on the ‘Violette Brücke’ in Duisburg

Countless bridges link the banks of the Ruhr. This is also the case in Duisburg, where four adjacent railway bridges over the Ruhr Canal have been given colourful names to distinguish them from each other. After the 'gelbe’(yellow) bridge was replaced a few years ago, it was now the turn of the 'violette’ (purple) bridge, a lattice railway bridge built in 1917. Wagenborg: 'skidding' at rail project in Leverkusen

During the spring of 2022, Wagenborg Nedlift participated in a major project in Leverkusen, Germany. Work was commissioned by two civil contractors to remove an old railway viaduct. Unique museum collection finds a new home

Oyfo Techniekmuseum (formerly Techniekmuseum HEIM) was founded in 1983 to present and preserve the industrial heritage of the Hengelo region. In the course of 2021, Oyfo moved to the Hazemeijer, a monumental industrial complex in Hengelo within walking distance of the station. The ideal place to connect technology, heritage, dance, music, theatre and visual arts. The move of the Technology Museum to the new location was a special event. The Wagenborg Nedlift team was there!
